# Rate limits

## Every endpoint

Each endpoint allows **5,000 requests a day** for your company. Each endpoint has its own count,
so heavy use of one does not use up another.

## When you go over

You get `429` with the number of seconds to wait. Wait that long before retrying.

## Tips

* Fetch payroll figures once per month, not repeatedly.
* Use the largest `page_size` the endpoint allows, so you need fewer pages.
* Use the filters to fetch only the staff you need.
