# List Late Fine Settings

GET https://api.salaryboxapp.com/v2/customer/v1/payroll/config/late-fine

Returns each staff member's late arrival fine: the amount, grace period and number of late days forgiven each month. Requires Payroll Pro. `config` is `null` when no fine is set up, and then nothing is deducted.

- A day is fined only when the person is later than `grace_period`; the whole late time is then fined.
- The first `waive_off_days` late days in a month are forgiven.
- `fine_type` is `daily` (per late day) or `hourly` (per hour late). `amount_type` is `custom` (`fine_amount` is money) or `multipler` (`fine_amount` is a multiple of the staff member's daily or hourly salary, for example `0.50` for half a day's pay).

- `salarybox_ids` (list of string, optional) — Repeatable. Limits the result to these staff members, for example `salarybox_ids=SBK7Q2M9TX&salarybox_ids=SBK3H8D1LP`.
- `page` (integer, optional) — Page number, starting at 1.
- `page_size` (integer, optional) — Results per page. Default and maximum 50.

## Types

### EmployeeFineConfig

- `salarybox_id` (string, required) — The staff member's SalaryBox ID.
- `employee_id` (string, required, nullable) — Your company's own employee ID for this person. `null` or an empty string when not set.
- `name` (string, required) — Full name from the staff profile.
- `branches` (list of string, required) — Names of the branches the person is assigned to. Deleted branches are left out.
- `departments` (list of string, required) — Names of the departments the person is in. Deleted departments are left out.
- `config` (FineConfig, required, nullable) — The fine settings payroll applies to this person, or `null` when none are set up (no fine is deducted).

### FineConfig

A staff member's late arrival or early leaving fine settings. See the endpoint description for how payroll applies them.

- `fine_type` (enum, required) — - `daily`: a fine for each late (or early) day, however long. - `hourly`: a fine for each hour of late (or early) time, pro rata.
  - Allowed values: `daily`, `hourly`
- `amount_type` (enum, required) — How `fine_amount` is read. The value is spelled `multipler` exactly as shown. - `custom`: `fine_amount` is money (per day or per hour). - `multipler`: `fine_amount` is a multiple of the staff member's per-day salary (`daily`) or per-hour salary (`hourly`).
  - Allowed values: `custom`, `multipler`
- `fine_amount` (string, required) — The fine as money or as a multiplier, depending on `amount_type`, as a 2-decimal string. For example `"100.00"` is ₹100 with `custom`, or 100 times the salary with `multipler`; `"0.50"` with `multipler` is half.
- `grace_period` (string, required) — Grace period as a duration, `HH:MM:SS`. A day counts only if the late (or early) time is more than this, compared to the exact second; then the full time counts. `"00:00:00"` means any lateness counts.
- `waive_off_days` (integer, required) — Number of late (or early) days forgiven in each payroll month, starting from the first one. `0` means none.
